Helping neighbors stay in their homes
Neighbor to Neighbor Foundation is a nonprofit human services organization in Mission, Kansas. We work to prevent homelessness among households in the Kansas City area, and to help families hold on to the housing they have.
What we do
- Homelessness prevention Working with households at risk of losing their housing, before a move-out becomes unavoidable.
- Emergency rent and utility assistance Help for families facing an immediate rent shortfall or a utility shut-off.
- Foreclosure prevention Support for homeowners at risk of losing a home they already own.
- First-time homebuyer guidance Guidance for people buying a home for the first time, through a process that is difficult to navigate alone.
